The largest Warbird event west of the Mississippi with over 150 registered pilots Join us in Fort Collins, Colorado, for the 5th year of the largest Warbird Event west of the Mississippi. Hosted by the Love-Air R/C Club and held September 26-28, 2008, this unique event drew 150 pilots from 18 states with over 300 different airplanes. Our cameras were on the flight line over the weekend capturing all the action for your viewing pleasure, including Ken Perkins' one-of-a-kind Curtis Seagull, Scott Davis' superbly detailed Stearman Biplane, Ryan Haldonwanger's MB-339, Jay Stewart's Curtis F6C2 Hawk, Peter Fritsche's model of a captured P-47 in German colors and Paul La Tourneau's 1/5 scale 95 lb P-61.This is only a small sampling of what you'll see! Noontime entertainment included a warbird show featuring Giant World War I and World War II aircraft as well as simulated Bomb Explosions performed by a professional pyrotechnics company. And to put icing on the cake, we were treated to a superb air show featuring a full-scale T-6 and a Sea Fury. If Warbirds are your passion, you can't miss this one!Total running time - 105 minutes

Welcome to Lakeland, Florida and the 20th anniversary celebration of the most prestigious event in Scale R/C aviation. In a surprise finish, the top spot was taken by David Hayes with his superbly detailed Rockwell Thrush crop duster; in addition, David finished first in the Masters Class. The Expert Class winner was Greg Hahn with a brand new Beech D-18. Team Class was taken by Graeme Mears and David Schulman fielding a brand new giant F-16.
Our team at Propwash Video is proud to have covered all 20 Top Gun Competitions to date. This year's program showcases over 40 aircraft; each featured contest model is shown in static "up close" poses as well as in flight. Additionally, there are in-depth pilot interviews, the highlights of the noon demos and the award presentations. Our knowledgeable narrator, Frank Tiano, will keep you well informed and entertained.
